The model HS20 is an industrial strength hollow shaft encoder in a 2" housing that mounts directly on an existing shaft assembly. When attached to a flexible mounting bracket or tether the encoder floats on the shaft without rotating. IP66 sealing is available to meet the demands of most industrial environments.

Anti-jitter: (single output models only) Increases the pulse hysteresis to ½ of a pulse width, eliminating the effects of mechanical vibration and the possible dither that results in false output pulses. For example a 10 counts per revolution output would have 18° hysteresis (i.e. 360° ÷ 10 × ½).
